Kebob Factory, Garrett Hill
The space that most recently held Brothers Spano in Garrett Hill (as well as the old Brick Bar) is now The Kebob Factory, a Persian / Indian restaurant from the owners of Khajuraho in Ardmore.
The menu features a wide variety of Kebobs (Kababs?) as well as some Indian curry dishes. There is also a full bar.

Stopped by last night intending to hit it up for a beer with a friend and watch the Home Run Derby. I had been here only a month or so ago, so it was surely still open, right? Wrong. I was very saddened to see that it was shuttered and being remodeled for a different restaurant. I mean, frankly, the area has plenty of places to get good Indian food, but the area around Villanova is somewhat lacking in local, unpretentious places to get a decent beer and bite to eat without being overrun by undergrads (Kelly’s) or children (Flip and Bailey’s). Oh well, hopefully something opens up soon to fill the void.

The kebob factory has a lot to offer. Delicious food, lots of beer, and a friendly atmosphere. Across the street has very poor and unhealthy choices not to mention that the food was not fresh. Go Kebob!!!

The kebob factory is awesome. Love the variety. Delicious food and excellent service. Good beer selection too.
