Another McKenzie's Brew House?
Pattye Benson reports that McKenzie’s Brew House is looking to open a new location in Berwyn’s Valley Fair Shopping Center, in the former Charlie Brown’s Steakhouse space. No date is available at this time.

For you township politics junkies out there, a hearing is scheduled for March 7, 2011 to discuss the transfer of Basil’s (Willistown) liquor license to McKenzie’s for this (Tredyffrin) location.

March 7,at a Public Hearing, Tredyffrin’s Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the liquor license transfer from Basil’s (Willistown) to McKenzie’s Brew House in Tredyffrin. The McKenzie’s owner says that renovations will begin shortly to the old Charlie Brown site — anticipated opening is September. It may not be a Sly Fox, but with so many places closing, there is already enthusiasm for a new pub opening. With the location’s proximity to Tredyffrin’s township building, I know where our elected officials will be hanging out! 🙂
